This Lower Intermediate class will be conducted largely in Yiddish to push comprehension, but time will be given to make sure everything is clear. It is for students who have completed more than one course in Yiddish, who are comfortable with different tenses and can introduce themselves without great difficulty.

Extending beyond core vocabulary, students will consolidate conversational skills and read literature relating to Jewish folklore. Expect to read and translate songs and bobe-mayses, and to play plenty of games together along the way.

Students will be set weekly (optional) homework. All materials will be provided.
