Abdelaziz
(Face-to-face teacher)
I'm an experienced Arabic language teacher with over 20 years of teaching in international schools and a Master’s degree in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers. Since moving to London three and a half years ago, I’ve continued sharing my passion for the Arabic language and literature.
I’ve taught various curricula, including British, American, Jordanian, and UAE, and I’m a qualified IB Arabic examiner and extended essay supervisor. As Head of Arabic, I led a team of six teachers, supported over 200 students across five Arabic levels, and initiated activities like reading competitions, debate and cinema clubs, and a student-run Arabic website.
Teaching Arabic language and literature is my passion in life. I have twenty years of teaching experience in International schools and a Masters’ Degree is in ‘teaching Arabic for Non-native speakers. I moved to the UK three and half years ago and now live in London permanently.
I have experience of the British, American, Jordanian and U.A.E. curricular. I am a qualified IB examiner for Arabic language and an extended essay supervisor and I trained and managed six teachers instructing two hundred college students taking five different levels of Arabic. While working as Head of Arabic in my last two schools, I was active in setting up differentiated book shelves in the library, book reading competitions, Arabic debate club, World Cinema club and the creation of a student led Arabic website for the school.
Malak

Hello! Marhabaa!! My name is Malak, and I’m from the beautiful city of Nablus, Palestine. My love for languages and cultural exchange led me to pursue a degree in French Literature at An-Najah National University, followed by a Master’s in Arabic Studies and Translation at the University of Lille in France.
My teaching journey began in 2016 with Project Hope – Nablus, where I worked closely with non-Arabic speakers, helping them develop their language skills. Over time, my passion for teaching grew, and I transitioned into a freelance Arabic instructor. Since 2021, I have been an online Arabic teacher with Babel’s, working with students from all over the world.
For me, teaching Arabic is not just a job—it’s a calling. Seeing my students gain confidence, express themselves fluently, and embrace the language step by step is incredibly rewarding. I always tell my students: learning a language is like taking your first steps as a child—every mistake is a step toward fluency!
My teaching approach focuses on:
· Breaking language barriers – I create a safe and supportive space where students feel comfortable speaking and making mistakes.
· Immersive learning – I incorporate real-life conversations, cultural insights, and engaging activities to make Arabic both practical and enjoyable.
