Yiddish
Poetry for Beginners (Online)
Workshop description
Yiddish Poetry for Beginners with Osian (Online)
Mondays 6:00 - 7:00pm
This four-week summer workshop is a chance to read a selection of Yiddish poetry while picking up vocabulary and grammar along the way. It is aimed at those who can read alef-beys and have completed a beginners' course. It will also introduce the poets' biographies, musical interpretations of their works, and a chance for you to make up a poem together. Join us to read verses that perspire: flower-crowns, shivers of joy and hot lightning in poems.
If you are uncertain if this level is appropriate for you, please email babelsblessing@gmail.com to speak further.
Mondays 6:00 - 7:00pm (60 min Class) Online on Zoom
