Course Description
In this complete Arabic A1/A2 course, you’ll learn the vocabulary and grammar needed for a wide variety of real-world scenarios such as describing daily routines, talking about professions and travel discussing sports and buying food.
You will be introduced to food, music, customs and history of Palestine and the Levantine region along the way, learning about distinctions in the language in different parts of the Arabic-speaking world.
Topics covered will include:
• Talking about yourself
• Going to the market/shopping
• Booking a restaurant and & ordering food.
• Booking appointments with doctors or dentists.
• Buying theatre, cinema, or music concert tickets.
• Booking a hotel or holiday apartment
• Mingling in large groups of people, introducing friends.
• Visiting a Palestinian family
• Banking, money matters.
• Conversations about Palestinian art/film, books, music, and visual art.
• Applying for work. Job interviews.
• Attending a Palestinian wedding or funeral
• Making a basic presentation.
This course is for students at A1-A2 level of Arabic. If you have never studied Arabic before you can sign up for our Absolute Beginners course, or check our Beginners Course, aimed at students who have completed Absolute Beginners or an equivalent course.
